Drugar stands for DRied UGandan ARabica and refers to the natural coffees which come from Uganda's Rwenzori region, on the border with Rwanda and Congo. Historically these coffees have not been treated as specialty, but over the past few years [importers] have been coaxing quality practices with partners near Kasese and Fort Portal, and are happy with the progress and potential of this bean.
