About This Coffee:
Specialty producers in Colombia are victims of the success of the broader Colombia coffee market. Colombian coffee quality is generally very high because of good genetics, growing conditions and processing. This has unfortunately left specialty drinkers feeling bored with Colombian coffees. Hansa sources world-class Colombian coffee, only selecting the very best of what is available.
This particular coffee is 100% Tabi, a coffee varietal developed in Colombia that is well-known for its flavor and resistance to coffee rust. This is one of the best coffees we have sourced from the Magdalena Valley and that's a bold statement. If you buy one coffee from Hansa this year, we recommend this one.
*Our preferred brewing method for this coffee is Chemex with a 1:15 coffee to water ratio
