Asali Hills Koval Barrel Aged

Asali Hills Estate and Hansa Coffee Roasters is excited to present the newest collaboration with KOVAL Distillery of Chicago! Asali Hills Owner, Dan Melone, got in contact with KOVAL and helped us at Hansa Coffee get our hands on a couple different used whiskey barrels to age green coffee in. This Asali Hills Washed Kenyan coffee was stored and turned in one of KOVAL's American Oak Rye Barrels for 7 months, letting the aromas of KOVAL's incredible whiskey give the Kenyan coffee a very unique flavor combo. 

In the cup, you will look forward to flavors of bakers chocolate and mulberry/dark cherry, and of course, the fantastic flavors from the KOVAL whiskey that bring forward a boozy, vanilla, and caramel taste. And of course one of the best parts, the smell! 

This is a limited release and we look forward to bringing in more barrel aged coffees the future!
